Yes! I KNOW we should call the wildlife rehabilitator BUT we found a bird that had fallen out of its nest with several other eggs and one was still a fetus thing and the other died and we HAD to save it and now its like our baby and weve had it two days and it hasnt died yet and we fed it and give it water and were trying to raise it. It eats a lot and is getting big but now its putting its legs on top of its wing weighing the wing down and making it look like the wing is broken. What should we do?!!!

My sister found a baby bird that fell out of it’s nest, we waited for a long time but the mom isn’t coming back and all these other bird’s are picking at it etc etc. My sister’s friend is bringing it over my house now. She says the bird looks healthy and is not injured, what do I do?

See these exotic parrots as they live in the rainforest. Beautiful multicoloured macaws feed off the clay on the dried Amazonian river beds deep in the jungle. From the BBC.

Rich K asked:
I feed birds, but lately a mob of boat-tailed grackles have taken to overstaying their welcome- they have bullied the smaller birds away and are eating me out of house and home seed-wise. I can’t shoot them because that would be illegal and i don’t own a gun anymore. Any help would be appreciated
